Carbon Easy Racers Gold Rush For Sale
This ‘C-Rush’ is based on the award winning Easy Racers ‘Gold Rush’ bicycle that won the DuPont prize for exceeding 65 mph. The carbon frame was custom built for me by Calfee Design, the highly regarded USA manufacturer of carbon bicycles. It is a Small/Medium frame for a 38” to 41” X-Seam.
High-grade components were selected for power, strength, and weight reduction. This includes
- Light weight oval ‘Rotor Q-ring’ chainrings for added pedal power.
- Wide 27 speed 23.2” to 124.2” gearing to help enjoy climbs and descents, composed with a SRAM nine speed cassette (11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-34) with triple oval chainrings (52-39-30)
- A firm-back, soft-cushioned carbon molded ‘Sprinter’ seat for great pedaling leverage and cushy comfort
- Other components include a King Cycle headset, Shimano Ultegra front caliper brakes / bottom bracket / crankset (165mm) / front derailleur, plus SRAM rear derailleur and twist shifters, an Avid BB7 mountain rear disk brake, and a TerraCycle idler. The handle bars are the very comfortable adjustable Easy Racers Chopper Style, with hardware to support and shape the included fairing and water bottle. It also has an aluminum rear rack with a detachable Aero Wing tail frame to hold an included body sock.
My C-Rush has been enjoyed in Tour British Columbia, down the Florida Keys, Cycle Zydeco, Texas Hill Country, and elsewhere. It is in good mechanical and overall condition, with very few blemishes.
